Information we collect

Depending on how you use Hey Novae, we may collect:

• business and brand information you add to your workspace;
• content, captions, notes, images and other material you choose to store;
• information from social-media accounts you choose to connect;
• comments, messages, page or account information made available through authorised social-platform integrations;
• technical information such as browser type, device type, session information and basic usage analytics;
• information you submit when joining our beta or waitlist.

Connected social-media accounts

If you connect a social-media account, Hey Novae will only request and use permissions necessary to provide features you choose to use.

This may include accessing authorised account or Page information, content, comments, messages, publishing functionality or related information where the relevant platform grants permission.

Hey Novae does not obtain access to a social account unless the account owner or authorised user connects it through the relevant platform's authentication process.

How we use information

We use information to:

• provide and operate Hey Novae;
• authenticate users and protect accounts;
• store and organise content and brand information;
• enable authorised social-media publishing and community-management features;
• provide AI-assisted content features when requested;
• improve reliability, usability and performance;

Social platform data

Data received through Meta, Instagram, Facebook, Threads or other third-party platforms is used only to provide the Hey Novae features authorised by the user.

We do not sell platform data. We do not use connected-account data for unrelated advertising purposes.

AI features

Where you choose to use AI-assisted features, relevant prompts, brand information or content may be processed by third-party AI service providers solely to produce the requested output.

We aim to send only information reasonably necessary for the requested feature.

Cookies and analytics

Hey Novae may use essential cookies for authentication, security and application functionality.

We also use first-party analytics to understand how our website is used, including page visits, device type, referral source and campaign information. IP addresses used for analytics may be stored in hashed form rather than as raw addresses.

How long we keep information

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and maintain legitimate business records.

Data connected to an account may be deleted or anonymised when the account is closed, subject to legal, security or backup-retention requirements.
